On May 6, 2024, Syaru Shirley Lin spoke at CAPRI’s second Annual Forum on the panel “Economic Dynamism in the Face of Decoupling.“ She shared CAPRI’s latest research on how actors in the Asia Pacific are adapting to economic deceleration, derisking, and uncertainty as China and the US engage in strategic competition. She was joined by authors and editors of the National Bureau of Asian Research’s publication Strategic Asia 2023 to discuss the region’s prospects for economic growth and regional interdependence.
